Nathaniel Whittemore, the founding director of Northwestern University’s Center for Global Engagement has a wonderful post up at his Change.org blog that takes a close look at “The Meaning of Business” — the article series in designmind to which Dev contributed a piece.

Whittemore, one of the most trusted bloggers on the subject of social entrepreneurship, says that the series is another clear indicator that social impact and good is once again becoming central to business — and he’s now thinking along Wired to Care lines: “In the new era, it’s all about being able to walk in other people’s shoes and cultivate an internal culture of empathy that can extend beyond the company’s walls,” he says.

Worth a glance — and then head over to designmind to read “Innovation Starts With Empathy“!
