I recently flew Delta for some trips back east over the holidays, and my experiences were nothing short of miserable. Because i had booked my tickets through a third party and had one flight on a partner airline, my flight times got changed just days before i was set to leave, with the new arrangements putting me on first flights that arrived after my connecting flights were scheduled to leave. After that was sorted out and when it came to travel, I was unable to check in online, at the curbside bag check, or even the electronic kiosk, because they could not ‘find my ticket’. This meant waiting in long lines to speak to actual ticketers with about 100 other people whose flights had been canceled due to weather - all because i didn’t book on delta.com. The entire experience made me feel like a third-rate traveler, if not a suspicious traveler, even though I was flying their airline just like everyone else.
